| Bio: | Have finally reached a point in my life where I've decided that I'm living my life for me, not for the opinions of the mythical--nor the social--"they" that, earlier in my life, I spent way too much time worrying about.
I struggle with a life-long dialectic* of yearning to slow down and simplify things and wanting to seize opportunities that life brings my way where I can make a contribution and a difference--this journal is primarily a day-to-day log of that integration and sometimes balancing act, day-to-day events, and occasionally some deeper reflections.
*as encompassed by the fifth definition offered by the FreeDictionary: "The contradiction between two conflicting forces viewed as the determining factor in their continuing interaction."
